Weekly Events

Adult Bible Study and Sunday School at 9:30 am. On Summer Break.

Every story casts His shadow 66 books. Dozens of authors. A holy canon thousands of years in the making. Every word, every verse, bears His testimony. The testimony of the Holy Messiah. Jesus Christ. Eternal King. The Gospel Project is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study for Kids, Students, and Adults that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Through this course, participants will journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling them to join the mission of God. Join us and 1,000,000 other Christians as we begin this life changing study. Each Sunday at 9:30 AM.


Wednesday Night Bible Study.

Bible Study does not meet on the first Wednesday of the month.

On Summer break

In the Sanctuary at 7:00 pm. Join us for a time of prayer, singing, and bible study. Pastor Jason is teaching. Children’s ministry in the fellowship hall classrooms, they are learning from FaithWeaver.

Offices Closed ~ In observance of Memorial Day, the church office will be closed Monday, May 30th.

Women’s Fellowship ~. Thursday, June 1st from 9am to 2pm. Outing to Schertz Park. It will be brown bag so bring a sack lunch, drink and lawn chair. No pets or glass containers. SPEC Supper Club ~ Wednesday, 7th at 6:00 pm.

Youth Game Night ~ June 7th and 28th –from 6pm-9pm in the Youth Room.  We’ll have ping pong, basketball, and other activities available.  Bring your own brown bag dinner, but desserts and snacks will be provided.

A/V 101 ~ Thursday, June 8th 6 at pm, meal provided. Do you love technology?  Do you have 21st century spiritual gifts?  If so, the Audio/Video Team is for you.  An introductory workshop will be offered in which you can learn more about this exciting ministry.  Topics will include sound board and worship software basics. “Pinterest” Meeting ~ Saturday, June 10th Meal Planning Seminar 11am-1pm.  Do you struggle with the question “what’s for dinner”?  Would you like to save more money from the grocery store?  Here is opportunity to solve some of these issues.  Join us for a session about Meal Planning techniques (thanks Erin M for donating your time and ideas) and then we’ll all go grab some lunch together.  We’ll have a sign-up sheet available for those interested.  Questions?  See Stephanie F.

Terrific Tuesday June 13th –10:00am Sprinkler Park and Picnic located in New Braunfels. Summer is here and it’s a great chance to get these kiddos together for some fun!  Let’s meet up at Fischer Park in New Braunfels (at the sprayground) then have a picnic together.  Hope ya’ll can join us!

Reformation Seminars ~ As you probably know by now this is the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. This is an event of profound importance in the history of the church as a whole, but particularly for St. Paul Evangelical Church. We have a direct spiritual lineage to these events. Later this year we will have a weekend Conference about the lasting spiritual impact of the Reformation. In preparation for this event we will have two Summer Seminars on June 14th and again on July 12th both at 7:00 to learn the “story” of the Reformation. Why did it take place? Who were the major players? And finally, how did it impact who we are and what we do here at St. Paul. Make plans to join us! Childcare will be available. If you plan to attend and will need childcare please let Pastor Jason or Stephanie Ford know.

Annual Reports Due by June 15th ~ If you are the head of a committee or organization, please turn in your annual report to church secretary Beth J.

The Sewing Sisters ~ June 8th and 22nd. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month in the parsonage from 9-11 am. All are welcome to come and enjoy good fellowship and ministry. If you have any questions, please contact the church office at 210-658-5874.

Youth Summer Camp ~ The week of June 19th-23rd

Council Meeting ~ Monday, June 26th at 7:00 pm.

Terrific Tuesday ~ June 27th –10:00am Witte Museum in San Antonio. Here’s another opportunity to get our kids together and have a great time!  We can meet up at the church at 9:30am and carpool together.  We’ll check out the cool exhibits at the Witte Museum and grab some lunch.  Hope all can attend!
